long throw shifter for C6 Z06?

long throw shifter for C6 Z06? i didn't like the shift feel of the C5 M6 factory shifter it was hard feel shifting shifter, i think the C6 Z06 shifter is the same, actualy i liked the shifter shift feel of my 2000 Z28 camaro it was soft feel.
can i get a longer throw shifter for the C6 Z06 some where?

I believe the stock Z06 shifter has less isolation. Iam not sure the throw was any different, though. You coild look for a base Corvette shifter....it would have a softer feel. Adding legth to the handle would also soften the shift feel AND add stroke/ travel.

I too am running the 427X C6Z short shifter. Not sure what kn** you're running, but I just switched out my que ball style kn** for the regular ole C6 kn** and I love the difference! With the full shift boot it added a bunch of isolation for both noise and vibration. I recommend it. GM parts house has a special going on them right now for $57 in suede or regular leather.
