Default Throw-out bearing

Question:

I'm prolly gonna run this Howe bearing with my Jerico, but going to Howe's site they state "not for street use" even though it's for use with stock-type clutches. Any ideas why? I mean, who's gonna run a stock clutch in a race car? And yes, I will call them Monday.

thanks!

FWIW, Howe stated that it's a liability issue. Their parts are designed and sold for "racing use only" and thus it's stated "not for street use". The guy went on to say that they've had units in service for over 10 years.
