Default Mcleod RST or RXT?

Which one will have the closet to stock pedal feel? I'm no where close to either horsepower range. Just want that stock pedal feel.

I'd like to hear the answer to this question myself. I have a 640hp 02 camaro I RR with that I have been using an LS7 clutch in with the prior LS1 also and it's begging for retirement.

I'd alsolike a lighter weight flywheel that will also work on the street without too many issues as well as handle track duties.

Anone have some real world experience with either of these?

I did some more research and decided to go with the RXT. There were a few more threads on here and all of them stated that if dragging the car any, that the RXT was the route to go.

The only difference between the RST and RXT is the friction discs, with the RST using organic material and the RXT using copper ceramic. I have the RXT in my car and it is by far the nicest clutch I've ever used in any of my vehicles....super light pedal feel and can beat the living tar out of it, never skips a beat.

Did you use their flywheel? I'm trying to decide what flywheel to use. Going with steel, I do know that much.

We pretty much always use there steel flywheel.

peddle is the same on both.

I recommend the RST for strictly street cars that do not do heavy street drag racing since the RST disks don't like heavy slipping.
All other cars get the RXT which take all kinds of abuse.

And is there a lightened steel flywheel that works well with the RXT?

I have the RXT and no complaints here. Pedal feel is very light. Lighter than stock to me. When I picked my car up after the install I got in and pushed the clutch in and thought it was broken lol.

It drives awesome. You would never know there were ceramic disks in there.

Rxt here. Its a great clutch that drives like stock but handles what ever you throw at it on the track.
