Master's rod material??
Master's rod material?? So I have been asking several people how they blead their clutchs. I was having an issue with my clutch system not wanting to bleed and my clutch pedal felt like it was not traveling completly. My clutch pedal was not traveling completely because the two presses that hold the top of the rod (with the eyelet that goes on the pedal) to the bottom (the rod connected to the piston inside the master) were slipping. I would push the rod down and it would sink quickly then I could feel the pressure from the hydralics. When it clutch returned, it was not completely up. I have a vice grip holding it in now so I could finish bleeding, but I am going to pull it out and weld it together so it will not slip. Anyone know the material it is? i.e. aluminum, steel, bronze lol, gold?

No worries. Pulled it back out last night and tried to take a razor to the metal....Not aluminum!! So I welded it together. Anyone got some old master cylinders? Want to get one and see if I can make them adjustable. Thanks
