Default Car lurching forward

What would cause my car to _ever so slightly_ lurch forward, maybe a half inch, then rock back to its original position? This happens when i sit in neutral for a second, clutch it then slide it into first. it does not continue to move foward, only for the slightest moment.

The reason im asking is im having some trouble punching it into second and im hoping it isnt my tranny.

Tick master, ive adjusted it, fluid is pretty clear havent bled it yet, but it has worked fine for a few months now, its being a pain.

Thanks!

Did your slave show signs of wear? i only installed this one new about 5k miles ago. But if it could be faulty, ill drop the trans.

I just dropped my trans to replace the slave last night. I had that same thing, and it was a lot worse shifting. It would grind slightly almost every change, I had to refill the clutch reservoir almost every week. As soon as I dropped the trans, I could plainly see where the slave was gushing fluid.

i am seeing fluid on the ground under the car, but i havent investigated it. i just blamed it on the synthetic oil seeping. ill have to drop my tranny and check stuff out. Im not losing clutch fluid though, checked that yesterday. ugh...

If it was your slave, it would be coming out the front of the bellhousing.
