Default anyone using the McLeod 139305 13/16" MC?

this MC came with my Street Twin along with a 30" braided line to the slave (assume "unrestricted" line).

McLeod says the twin requires a larger 13/16" bore over the stock 3/4" bore (LT1) MC

I have it, I like it a lot. McLeod replaced my older style one under warranty and gave me the new Wilwood one. The only issue you might run into is the rod adjustment. On mine, I threaded the rod end all the way down until it bottomed out, and the pedal was barely lower than stock. So I just chopped about 1/2" off the threads.

On further inspection....I had to return it yesterday because the one they included had the 3/4" (.75) MC on it. McLeod said it was miss-boxed as the.75 is for Gen 1-2 with the 13/16" for gen 3-4 f-body.

Glad I looked closer before installing but McLeod promply sent a call tag for PU by UPS and will return a 13/16" one.

I actually was on the phone with Wilwood tech about bench bleeding procedure when I read the part # off to him and then also saw the ".75" marked on it. He verefied it was the 3/4 and said they make a 13/16" also.

I have a B-body with a clutch pedal bracket made by BBHP so I will have to drill out my firewall to allow the bottom end of this MC to stick out as the stock GM MC fit inside the cabin but this McLeod/Wilwood one is longer at it's base. Not an issue with a F-body mounting.

The MC "looks" to be made well. McLeod makes the angled part and assume they weld on the extended threaded rod part. It uses the "compact" Wilwood MC

I assume pedal effort will be more due to the larger bore.

did your old slave look like the pic below?

I know one person who had issues with the rubber cup inside tearing against the sharp edge of a hole inside the MC. He kept rebuilding it and later found a $2.50 hydraulic rebuild kit for a brake wheel cyl from NAPA which was way cheaper than the rebuild kit offered by McLeod. IIRC it is a Tilton but not sure on that and I don't know if it is available.

Yes, that's the one I used to have. One of the piston seals kept getting nicked. I suspected a slight defect on the cylinder wall. I had already rebuilt it twice with a kit from McLeod, so they offered to replace it with the new one for no charge.

^^ yeah your seal issue is what the guy I spoke with has had with his. guess McLeod moved on to another manufacturer, Wilwood.

Did you notice if your MC was marked 13/16"?

the one I sent back (pic) was the .75 bore

Mine is 13/16, marked ".81". I couldn't remember what it was, just got back from overseas to check out the pics on my desktop computer.

I just received the relacement MC from McLeod and it is marked ".81". Sent my .75 back Wed. and got the replacement Friday.

I also like the fact you can articulate the angled mount as on my application I need to. I unscrewed it and reversed it 180 degrees, after I get the MC mocked up in my pedal assembly I will know for sure what orientation the MC needs to be. The part the hydraulic resovoir feeds hits my firewall so I need to turn it either 90 or 180 degrees from where it would be on a F-body install.
