Monster TOB issues...

Default Monster TOB issues...
So when I got my SS finished I installed a Monster Stage 2 clutch kit from Maryland Speed, And I have to say I'm happy with the clutch but not the TOB.

I have 800 miles on my car since the build, No launches, No racing, normal driving with a few spirited drives. 800 miles and I am getting real bad squeeling from the bearing when not in gear. Push the clutch and its gone, release it and my god its enough to drive you crazy.

Anyone else have these issues? Im just shocked at 800miles, Ive had stock ones last 100k!

My stage two grabs and launches like a ****. It's the best purchase I've made for my car (well, along with the tick master)

TOB = Throwout Bearing

I believe Monster provides GM slaves/throwouts.

I would assume they are, I added the slave to the kit so everything is brand new. I am just a little irritated that its already on its way out. TOB that is...

Does sound like the TOB from what you are describing, we use OEM parts and will warranty without issue. Just give us a call. Thanks, Chris 817-750-2000
