Default Shift light came without LEDs w pic

Ok hopefully this is the right area to post this.

Bought a shift light from Frost last week, and pretty sure it came without the led lights like in the pictures that are on his website. Theres one LED looking light on the little circuit board I assume is there for programming the thing. I haven't emailed him yet cause im sure hes mega busy, just wanna make sure im not being full retard and missing something that is right in front of me.

If indeed the LEDs are not there like they should be what do I do?

Also wtf is the white wire for? I see no mention of it in the instructions and cant find anything on here about a white wire. It has some little capacitor looking thing taped to it that I also see no mention of in the instructions.

Picture quality is terribad cause my phone is ancient btw. The black tube and other rubber "cap" that came with it are not in picture but I do have them, Other than that what you see is what I got. Thanks for any help everyone!

Are they inside the black tube? You may have pulled the wires off that go to the lights.

I never thought of that, good idea. Actually im hoping someone will pop in and say "go buy X part from harbor freight for a dollar and the white wire does this" instead of bothering Frost about it and waiting a week and a half to maybe get a part.

I can see straight thru the tube and the lights aren't stuck inside the rubber cap.

Does the white wire happen to be the one that goes to the lights if they were there?

Or you know, you could just contact him, get what you paid for, and it would all be done and over with.
