6 speed grind question

6 speed grind question
Hi guys I recently have been having some issues with my t56. The issues include:
If you are driving the car and you push the clutch in and rev the car the trans makes a grinding noise, it does it whether it is in gear or in neutral. If in neutral it grinds it without pushing the clutch in. It does seem to be motion influenced because it does not do it when stationary.
when driving the car and when you downshift into 3rd the trans will grind sometimes when trying to get into the gear and it will continue to grind while in the gear until you let the clutch out.
The trans shifts awesome going up in gears and makes no noise or sounds and no pop out gears.
When I installed the trans I put in a mgw shifter which I had to drill out the shifter plate so it would engage all the gears but it feels good now and feels like they are all going in.
Some additional info:
This trans is in a 1970 camaro and I converted it to use the 6 speed so I am still using the factory manual clutch. I have made sure that the clutch linkage is good and it is fully engaging and disengaging. I don't think the clutch is an issue but I have no idea what could be giving me problems. The trans was used when I got it, it came out of a 2004 gto with 30,000 miles.
Please let me know if anyone has had this problem and any tips on what the problem could be ! Thanks again.

Jack the rear up, pull the driveline out (it won't leak much if the tail end is fairly up high) and do the same "tests." If it still does it, then troubleshoot trans.-forward.
The push-clutch-in = noise sounds like the throwout bearing.
If it's an internal bearing, you'll see it in the fluid.

It doesn't seem like a throw out bearing. it sounds like a gear grinding but it still does in in neutral or with the clutch in. The throw out bearing is also only a month old, I just recently did the swap.
I think I am going to rebuild the trans but I'm not sure what could be wrong.
Thinking of adding some parts to handle a little more power when I rebuild any suggestions ? Its out of an 04 gto so it should already have the steel 3-4 fork.
