Any reason 2 replace my 30K mile old McLeod master cylinder w/ new one? Have extra
I've had an adjustable master from McLeod in my car for 30K miles, and just had to order a new clutch setup from them so got another brand new McLeod Adj. Master even though I really don't need it.
I was going to sell it, but was wondering if there is any reason for me to put the new one in and sell the old?
Install is a pain so I just thought I'd keep the old one and sell the new, but if these are notorious for having problems as they age I'd install the new one.

From what I've read on here, older McLeods are notorious about starting to leak.
If I were in your shoes, I'd put the new one in and sell the old one. McLeod makes a rebuild kit (under $30) that can freshen up that old one - so to somebody out there, it would have a good home if they'd be willing to do a little work.
