Default 4th gear grinding

Has anyone had issues with switching to pennzoil synchromesh and then developing grinding ONLY in one gear? I don't know if it's related or not... But just recently I changed to Pennzoil SM and it's shifted a lot smoother. Last night during a wot 1-4 I noticed 4th was a bit rough going in. Later last night I got on it maybe 3/4 throttle shifting at around 4-5k and it was a bad grind. It still goes in gear but grinds going in. Normal slow driving it doesn't grind at all, it's just when higher rpms are involved.

Do you still have the stock clutch? Mine used to do that with my stock clutch because it uses a self adjusting pressure plate that tends to fail at high rpms. Like you, even at half or 3/4 throttle, if I was in the high rpms like 5k+ it would be difficult to get into third, and 4th gear would be nearly impossible and grind slightly.

No I have a ram powergrip with about 1200miles on it, new gm slave, and tick mc. It didn't start this until after I put synchromesh fluid in it. I was wondering if anyone else had similar issues with this fluid or if it's just mere coincidence.
