A4 to T56 conversion template?
A4 to T56 conversion template? Does anyone have templates for placing a T56 in an A4? I have all the parts but before I remove the trans, was wanting to know if there are holes already there or if I have to make templates and cut it out for the master cylinder, trans tunnel, and the pedals.

for the pedals, i just mounted the new set and then used a 1 5/8 hole saw to cut it. using the pedal assembly as a guide. there is a plastic template that you can see when you get under there. i visually went off that to line up and it worked perfect.
for the tunnel i just looked at pictures and kind of eye balled it. with all my searching i couldnt find exact measurements. i cut smaller and made it bigger once i got the trans in place.

yeah its pretty straight forward. I did the pedals one day so i wouldnt get over whelmed with everything, only took about 2 hours and then finished up the swap the following week in a day and a half using a lift. Also, it makes it a lot easier to remove the gas pedal when taking out and putting in the new pedals. I didn't remove the steering column like some people suggest, it wasn't that difficult to do. Its just an awkward spot to do work in. Its a pain to mount the master to the firewall, it helps to have a second person there helping. I also used just regular nuts and bolts for it, I didn't even try to mess with the stupid u-bolts how it comes factory.
