Well I am almost at a lost. This winter I had my reverse repaired because it kept popping out and while I was at it I had all new synchros and a new shift fork added also. Well now it will grind when you try to shift it into third. It will go in but it grinds some. It even grinds when the car isn't moving and you try to throw it into third !! My buddy did the drill mod, replaced the slave, replaced the master twice (the first mcleod was junk) even added some shims behind the slave to push it out more. Still nothing works. The last thing I can think of is the clutch. Are there any other ideas? It just seems like the clutch isn't disengaging all the way. I keep forking out cash with no results. I sure hope I can figure this dilema out soon!
