And like I said I haven't had a chance to yet... Things changed as I explained in the last post and I was wondering if anyone had any experience with what I was describing. Wasn't expecting the transmission to drop itself by posting on here I know it needs to be done and it will be done. But that doesn't mean I can't try and discuss it in the mean time and speculate why the grinding all of the sudden went away after being extremely severe. I figured I wasn't the very first person ever to have something strange like that happen, so I thought someone would chime in with some useful information but I guess not. Beyond the stickies this site sucks *** for getting help man. Bunch of smartasses with nothing useful to bring to the table to help out the younger/less knowledgeable guys.

You posted on the 25th, 8 days ago and you haven't looked into anything they said it could be. The hydraulics aren't going to make a grinding noise so those were ruled out, that leaves pilot bearing, throw out bearing, loose hardware, excessive input shaft play, or internal damage to the transmission.

With that being said I will go out on a whim and say your pilot bearing took a ****, ate its self up and the vibration at the end of travel in the pedal could be the input shaft wobbling around with lack of support and its transferring it to the clutch assembly and on up into the pedal with the clutch movement.

And I explained why... Can you not read? My mechanic has been unavailable. You people can't seem to read and answer my questions. The grinding randomly went away. I am asking if anyone has experienced that happening before. Usually when there is a problem it doesn't just magically go away on its own. I was just curious if anyone has experienced something similar.

If something is loose or damaged the grinding noise can come and go at different times. Going to have to just wait until you can pull the trans to find out.
