5/6 counter gear asm. removal t56

wondering if its possible to remove the 5/6 counter gear asm. without removing the 5/6 driven gear from the main shaft. im trying to replace the 5/6 shift fork.

Yes, just remove the fork clip and yank up holding the fork and 6th gear in your hands. (After removing reverse of course)
