if your PCM tuner can't flash your PCM and you can't figure what wires to tap into...that would be an option

or...

just wire it to your brake pedal switch for $0, which is what I did 9 years ago on my swap

Thats kinda dangerous though. Some people may accidentally go into reverse when slowing down & down shifting.

Im personally gonna rob one of the shift solenoid wires & put the pin into the reverse lockout place on the pcm & have the computer flashed for standard. All you have to do is rob the #47 pin & put it into the #44 slot & trace the wire back & hook it up to the reverse lockout.

true, unfortunately there are "some" people who don't know how to shift correctly

auto to T56 in a car that is made for T56 can be done by correct programming and wiring.

certainly that aftermarket part you posted is one option

My reverse lockout was a paint, I found that my hurst shifter with the extra spring in it on the drivers side kept me from reverse

Really? I just completed my 4L60 to T56 swap, using that exact shifter without issue.

I also repinned the PCM and used a couple of the wires that used to operate the 4L60, all works like it came that way.
