Default Richmond 4+1 too much hassel/cost?

I am starting my lq4 swap into my Javelin and I will be running a manual transmission. I currently have a Richmond 4+1 with the long shifter I was going to use when I was going to run a gen I motor. I have a Lakewood scattershield for the sbc I was going to run along with the matching centerforve clutch. After doing some reading it appears I will need a different bell, clutch, and flywheel. Would it make more sense to run a proper t56? I was hoping I could use what I already own but it doesn't seem like the sbc bell will work in this application. I already planned on running a hydraulic throw out bearing. Not sure if that changes application here. Any advice would be appreciated.

Never been a fan of those units personally.

I don't know what fits the Javelin. But there is probably more ability to use your existing parts than you think. The T56 is the better trans. in this case.

I think I am going to cut ties with the entire drivetrain I had planned. Oh well, it's only money.

You may reconsider based on your motor, rear end combo.
The 0.5OD on the T56 is only useful with high gear ratios.

I ran a tko600 behind the last motor so it has 4.56's in the rear. To run the Richmond I was going to have to switch that up. I could keep them with the t56

Sounds about perfect for the T56. I'll be watching your build thread, really like the car.
