99 z28 T-56 monster clutch release issue... please help
So I've been having an issue with my 99 z28 with a t56 and can"t seem to find anywhere on here about what could be the problem. Any advice at this point would really help. This is my dd and I need to get it back on the road.
First the throwout bearing broke, I replaced the slave and throwout bearing. Clutch wouldn't fully disengage. Went ahead and changed the master cylinder, was able to drive it to the store and back then the same thing happened(won't release). It's acting like the slave needs to be shimmed, but the original one didn't need it. There's no visible damage to the pressure plate, clutch, or pilot bearing. What would cause it to not fully release the clutch? There is absolutely no air in the line(manual bled and used Mityvac), and I've measured the slave to the pressure plate( it's at 1/16 difference after I did the formula)
