Default LS1 Input Shaft install ?

I'm putting a LS1 input shaft in my 97' Viper T56. I installed the bearing by heating the bearing in my over for a couple of hours and freezing the shaft. It worked great, the bearing slipped right on with no tapping it or anything.

My question is since I heated the bearing and all the lubricant burned out in the oven do I just repack it ? Can a I use All-Purpose grease ?

You don't need to pack it with grease although you might have destroyed the bearing depending on how hot you heated it to. Normally a simple press will do the trick to install a bearing like yours onto the input shaft.
