Ive seen a reference in a post or 2 where a 2 step was used triggered by engaging the clutch to drop rpm to the low setting when the clutch is engaged long enough to get a quick flat foot shift...

(ive wondered if this could solve my own ls7 clutch gear block at rpm issues??? so I always watch these posts )
