clutch wont disengage
So my Ls1/T56 combo is in a Fc Rx7. It was a running driving swap prior to me dropping the trans to replace the input seal. After shoving everthing back together i couldnt get it in gear. So i replaced the slave cylinder and put the shim that was on it. Ive mity vac bleed it, classic pump method pretty much tried everthing i saw on forums and have run out of ideas. This was working just fine so i cant believe it would be the master/flywheel/clutch.... ideas?

I hate to ask as many times as you've been under there, but are you seeing any fluid leaks when you pump or an assistant pumps the pedal - something to indicate the slave blew a seal and isn't moving the clutch?
It almost sounds like something in the pressure plate or friction disc got bent or broken. The hydraulics aren't that complicated, and you've got good feel, which means you have resistance. However, you've had it apart twice, and I would think you would have noticed that - you seem to know what you are doing.
Maybe a small piece of something fell in there and is preventing the friction disc from moving? Maybe the pilot bearing backed out a bit and is halting the friction disc?
I'm only guessing at straws like you are, but it really sounds like something you will need to tear the whole clutch down and it will probably be something very obvious once it's apart, but invisible while assembled.

I plan on pulling the clutch tonight. No fluid leaks and it holds a mity vac vacuum for hrs with no bubbles. I guess we will see. Prob just gonna grab a stock clutch setup from an auto parts store and see if it works.

Wish I could have given you a bulls-eye, but it sounds like all I did was confirm your suspicion that you'll just have to pull it apart and look. Sorry wasn't much help
