Recently pulled motor to replace gaskets, a freeze plug, and a new master cylinder. When I left the shop I had all gears but it was hard to get into reverse. Drove it fine for the next 2 days with no issues besides it still being hard to put in reverse. It sat for 1 night and now I don't have 2nd, 3rd, or 5th gear while car is running. I can put it into all gears while car is off. No fluid is leaking. Clutch feels like it did before we pulled motor. Any ideas?

sounds like it either needs to be bled out a bunch or the master is gone. you didn't mention having an adjustable master, so I'm assuming its still stock

It has all the symptoms of a bad master. Did you bench bleed it or just crack the bleeder at the transmission?
On a new master install, I disconnect the line at the slave and bleed the master through the quick connect using a screwdriver to open the check valve. Then when I know there is no air, I reconnect and bleed out the slave. If you did all that, the master is probably not good.
For what it's worth, I went through a few over the course of a year and finally broke down and bought the tick master. never had an issue after.
