lt1-s with or without tick master???
I am putting a ls3/t56/awd in my 72 blazer. I have read different reports on whether I should use a tick master with the lt1-s clutch. Basically I just need to know if I should use the tick or not? It has a pretty heavy clutch in it right now.
thanks

I would ALWAYS use the tick master. After you install, you need to sneak up on the correct adjustment length.

Some twin disks arent recommended to use with an aftermarket large bore master cylinder as they move too much fluid and make the engagement window very small. I had this problem with my Ram 9.5 twin and a Tick master. At the recommendation of Tick, I swapped my master cylinder down to a 3/4" bore and its perfect now. Im not sure if the LT1-S requires this, but you can order them this way from Tick, give them a call!

i'm running a tick and a lt1-s in my goat. if you go with the tick,
be damn sure you start the adjustment with the clutch pedal as
close to the firewall as possible, or you will damage the pressure
plate.
my engagement window is roughly 1/3 of what it was with the ls7
clutch and factory master.
