lt1-s with or without tick master???
I am putting a ls3/t56/awd in my 72 blazer. I have read different reports on whether I should use a tick master with the lt1-s clutch. Basically I just need to know if I should use the tick or not? It has a pretty heavy clutch in it right now.
thanks

Some twin disks arent recommended to use with an aftermarket large bore master cylinder as they move too much fluid and make the engagement window very small. I had this problem with my Ram 9.5 twin and a Tick master. At the recommendation of Tick, I swapped my master cylinder down to a 3/4" bore and its perfect now. Im not sure if the LT1-S requires this, but you can order them this way from Tick, give them a call!

Im running a tick master with my lt1-s only because i already had it. Even with the tick master which increases pedal effort some it drives great and the engagement window is still very good

Just keep in mind that if you use the Tick master, it will increase pedal effort and shrink the engagement window.
Give us a call if you want to go over details.

i'm running a tick and a lt1-s in my goat. if you go with the tick,
be damn sure you start the adjustment with the clutch pedal as
close to the firewall as possible, or you will damage the pressure
plate.
my engagement window is roughly 1/3 of what it was with the ls7
clutch and factory master.
one of THEE best mods i've done to the car to date.
