Default T56 hard to shift hard

I have a built t56 that has been through abuse over time. During hard launches at the track it's almost impossible to shift into gear quickly as it gets locked out.
I do have the Tick master so I'm not sure it's a hydraulic issue.
I want to make sure it's not just my clutch before I tear apart my transmission for rebuild

How does it feel when the vehicle is off? If it's easy and shifts effortlessly then you have a clutch/hydraulic issue. Not a Trans issue.

Default T56 hard to shift hard

First couple times I put in gear, it's notchy and takes effort to slide in. After a while it goes in easy as it should.
Was just thinking it could be clutch cause when I'm high rpm I have to shift it slow for it to go in

I'm having the exact same problem on a fresh Tick level 2 build and Tick mc. It was embarrassing at LS Fest. It shifts great under normal conditions, but at high rpm, it will not go into gear. Hopefully we can get someone from Tick to chime in.

Default T56 hard to shift hard

So I swapped the shifter and found the shifter had some problems. It was very loose. Replaced it and it now shifts better but every now and then it still gets locked up going to third under hard acceleration.
Maybe it could be the transmission right

Looks like I'm gonna be investing in a tick rebuild unless there's something closer to me in Texas

Well I was messing with the shifter and it goes in just fine just sitting there. It's once I get running and try and shift hard where I get locked out.

With that said, I believe it's my slave cause I've already purchased a tick master. Unless y'all have other ideas on what it could be I will be buying a slave this week

have you been bleeding clutch fluid frequently ? if not is it clear or cloudy/contaminated ? what clutch is in it ? does it happen to be heavier than stock like an ls7 setup ? does it happen to shift well when its cold ?

Fluid is black. I'll change the fluid and bleed it once more.

It does shift good when cold. I've noticed when I take it to the track any good burnout just ensures that I'm gonna get blocked out of 3rd.

Taking it to high rpm also will block me out. No grinding of the gear.
