Default T56 Magnum XL

I have some interest in installing a T56 Magnum XL in a '06 CTS-V. The length of the XL appears to solve the issues with the remote shifter. My understanding is that the XL has so far only been produced for Ford's, presumably there is an input shaft that can be swapped in to make this work with an LS?

Does this sound right, does anyone have any details?

It's do-able but the input selection can be tricky. You'll gain a slip-yoke driveline.
