To clutch or not? T56......Any clutches for sale?
My ls1 is being rebuilt and I'm expecting 440 Rwhp.
I have a stock clutch that is ok. Should I upgrade to a stage 1 clutch, like spec or diamond? I only want to spend around $300 for the new clutch.
Should I replace the flywheel if mine is ok?
My slave cylinder has 103,000 miles on it. Someone told me I should go ahead and replace it since you have easy access.
Will a factory slave cylinder and throw out bearing bearing be ok? Or do I need an aftermarket?
I plan on buying this stuff today, so any help would be great.

At that HP you're going to go through clutches. A "Level 1" anything isn't going to be rated for that. If you want to go cheap get a LS7 and then it would have a matching new flywheel. There's also no way I'd reuse a 10,000 mile slave. Been there and done that and it leaked in less than a year but I guess you'll be replacing the clutch again sooner than later with an undersized one so maybe just let it go.

I don't plan on launching at the track. There's no point in me punching from a stand still, because before all I did was spin out. I just want something that I can daily drive and won't break my leg to press the clutch. I may just get on it every now and again from a roll.
