Difference between Monster LT1-S,SC and R
Besides the obvious power capability what are the differences in friction materials pedal effort and streetability.
I am torn between the LT1-S or SC versus the Mcleod RXT. I need a daily driver clutch that I can also track-but slip out of the hole on the launch.
Something that can be rebuilt on a yearly basis without breaking the bank is a plus too!

If you're looking to slip it hard on launch, organic materials are out
You're into puck style metallic discs or carbon
For street use carbon will give you the smoothness of an organic disc.
Puck style metallic discs are very good these days too, and perfectly doable for a daily driver. Although if you see a lot of traffic stop/start, I'd try for different options.

The newer stuff has come a long, long way - carbon clutches are over-priced for what most need and are just not necessary any longer.

You've definitely more experience than me.
But 500hp is a lot less than the 800+ Arun is using assuming it is the car in his sig.
If the organic can hold the launches good, then happy days.

I've had so much luck with the LS7 that im going to go with the LT1-S for next season-I'll try it out-it's not that expensive. Cause after next season I'm going auto.
