Leaking Tiltons

McLeod stopped using Tiltons and went to Wilwood
I read a post where the guy got so fed up with the exploding wallet repair kit from Tilton to keep fixing his he finally went to NAPA and looked for wheel cyl brake rebuild kits the same ID bore size of the tilton and for $2.xx he got those rebuild kits
I assume your MC looks like the pic below...that is the unit I am referring to
and the other pic is the McLeod (Wilwood) unit. It comes in standard bore size for single disc clutch's and the 13/16" bore for the Street Twin Disc
I would say that anyone who has one should take a look.
I would say 2 in a row are bad.....get another brand.....like the MCLeod aka Wilwood.
Like any hydraulic cylinder they are pretty basic inside. piston, spring and a rubber cup.....something causing the rubber cup to fail & leak
one thing to consider...are you over extending the MC stroke??
Ill be getting another one under warranty and unsure if I should go with a tilton again. I posted to see if others were having issues or was I just lucky enough to get 2 duds.
