Default TR6060 forward shifter location

Hello, so I have a 55' Belair with a 5.3 and a built 4L60E. I've really been wanting to do a 6-speed but I already had the 4L60E. Well 3rd and 4th are slipping now and I'll be pulling her out tomorrow. Was thinking this might be the time to make the switch. As I'm limited on funds after the build I've been researching my options. I know the magnum has 3 shifter location options. The TR-6060 has a rear mount from what it looks like but looks like it has linkage go to a forward location. Seeing as I could probably find a TR6060 significantly cheaper and its rated to 600ft lbs of torque I think it would foot the bill if it can be used. The issue with mounting in a trifive is that if you want to keep the bench seat you have to have the forward mounting location to make it work. I'll might go to buckets later but the Mrs likes the bench so it stays for now.

So short story long, can you use a forward mounting location on the TR6060? Does anybody know if the forward location if available on the TR6060 is in the same area as the forward location on the T56 magnum?

All and any help/info is greatly appreciated!

Short answer is yes. I'll dig up a link to a Core-shifter that drops right in the forward location.
