Help me double check install
my last motor suffered an early death by a torn up thrust bearing. I need some help double checking EVERYTHING to make sure it does not happen again. Last motor lasted 100 miles.
what I know so far, throw out bearing has 3/16 of air gap.
the input shaft is in and not bottomed out, trams and bell housing mated perfect and did not have to force them together.
trans slip yoke has 7/8 to an inch of play.
drive belt I am able to get over all pulleys and is tight but can twist belt by hand.
All accesories are are lined up.
ANY OTHER THINGS TO CHECK ?!?!
