Default T56 - No Reverse

I lost reverse in my GTO today. I had recently been having issues with the reverse lockout making it tough to go into reverse, and I'm sure it's somehow related, just want to make sure I'm covering everything before I ultimately end up pulling the transmission out.

The car still runs and drives fine. No problems in any other gear whatsoever. I was simply turning around and lost reverse. It just grinds anytime I attempt to put it in gear. I tried getting into reverse with the car off as well. It will start to go in (enough that it triggers the back up lights) but if I bump the ignition with it like that the car doesn't move. Same thing goes if I push the clutch in and start it, reverse lights stay on but it just grinds.

I have that sneaking suspicion that it's going to end up being a bent fork, but as I said, I want to make sure I'm not missing anything before I pull it off and send it somewhere to have it replaced.

You've done enough troubleshooting; it's internal at this point.

If you're removing the trans., you can probably do the Reverse parts to fix.
