Anybody know of a good book, manual, or video/dvd that I could pick up to help me through a T56 rebuild? Have one that is locked in 4th gear, I've rebuilt everything else, including a short block, so I have no doubt I can, I just don't know how/what to look for. I could probably do a search but I'm super limited on time off and this is easier. Thanks in advance!

I assume this is for your '98?
The official GM Service Manual for this is called the "Unit Repair Manual." It comes in 2 volumes. Volume 1 is for automatics and Volume 2 is for Manuals.
Helm, Inc. is the normal publisher but it looks like they are no longer stocking the book. If you search for "1998 GM Unit Repair Manual", you can find some used. I just did a quick search and some were coming up on ebay and Amazon.
I have one for my '99 and its great. Exploded diagrams, full procedures, bolt torques, etc.
