Default Loud whine, 1st gear decel?

Hey guys. My 98 Trans Am has had a 1st gear whine on decel since I bought it. The original gears had a decent whine to it in 1st but I thought it was the rear end. I rebuilt the rear end with all new bearings, orange motive 3.73s and seals. These gears in general have a hint of whine but it has a wayyy louder 1st gear decel whine.

Would this mean my T56's first gear has an issue. I notice 2nd has a little noise to it too going very slow on decel. What are your guys thoughts

Did it get louder after the new gears? I'm thinking the higher load on decel in first is what's causing the rear to whine more.

Yes, it is louder with the new 3.73s.
