T56 swap I'm looking at doing a t56 swap on my ls1. Stock bottom end, ported and polished 5.3 race heads, torquer v2 cam and a tune. I know I need to have the computer flashed to change it to a manual set up but will it ruin the tune I have in it already? I have already put 3.73 gears in the rear preparing for this, any other advice for swap would be much appreciated.

your tuner would be able to make any adjustments for the 6 speed swap
Generally they would start with a M6 bin file and then adjust that for whatever other mods you have regarding the motor
I did a A4 to T56 swap in a B-body which at the time had a H/C/Gear/Injector/TB tune. It was not problem for my tuner, Ed Wright.

Beyond just the transmission adjustments there will likely be some adjustments in the tune...idle RPM for one since you will have a M6
Turbo Specialties, who you said did your tuning, should be able to deal with all of it

Im reading something about the 93- 95 being from a first gen lt1 not being able to change the input shaft case the gearing is differnt, do you know anything about that? I really wanna do the swap but i want to make sure I get the right tranny to swap.
