T56 GTO bellhousing/6.0 truck starter?? Anyone ever modify the 04-06 GTO t56 bellhousing so it will accept a 5.3/60 truck starter...???
I'm swapping my MN12 GTO t56 into my 5.3 powered 72 A-body wagon and I would like to not have to buy a new belhousing or the smaller expensive GTO starter.

It can be done..... but the GTO starter is truly the one that works the best for that bellhousing. Prepare to get out the grinder and making some areas very very thin. Lots of trial error...
IMO sell that BH and buy and Fbody one or get the proper starter.
