Default What RPM to launch at with McLeod Twin Disc

After reading the post about the clutch surface coming off on the first launch I got concerned about my clutch. Should I not slip it at all, should I leave a 4K and dump it, 6k and dump it, should I try 1500rpm then floor it? Please give me some advice....I will be running ET streets.

that's a pretty impossible question.

it all depends on your setup, teh track surface, how big your ***** are, etc.

i launch my car at 7,000 rpm with spec stage 3i. i built it to handle that and it cuts good sixties on 26X15 et streets so that's what i do.

So are you saying you dump the clutch from 7K or do you use the clutch to reduce power to the tires?
