Tick Master turnbuckle questions

Tick Master turnbuckle questions I am currently in the middle of installing my Tick master cylinder. I'm to the point of putting the turnbuckle back on the master cylinder under the dash.
First question, the instructions say to begin from the shortest setting possible. Is that all the way down the threaded stud coming out of the master, or does the turnbuckle bottom out before then?
Second question, I was trying to see how the turnbuckle heim joint was going to attach to the clutch pedal and the turnbuckle is hitting the bracket the neutral safety switch attaches to no matter how what position I try to put it on from. Has anyone else had this problem?
