Why bother? A Muncie rock crusher is not as strong as a stock T56 from what I've been told.

Rock-Crushers rock, hehe, but not nowadays. Just get a 6-speed, and never look back(literally).

I know Speed Inc. had a 67' or 69' corvette with an Ls1 and a rock crusher but I was wondering if anyone had ever drove a combo like this. I would imagine that the RC4-speed would be considerably more efficent, lighter, and stronger. I have a TH400 slushbox, it's cool but there is nothing like bangin' gears AND not losing 9 million% of my horsepower to the rear wheels.

A T56 is stronger than an M-22 FWIW.

It will work, just not as well as the T56.
