Default TR6060 Input Shaft Differences/Specs & Swapping?

G'day folks, first post and straight into it!

I've got a TR6060 fitted to my 2012 VE Commodore that's had a bit of an input shaft problem and I'm needing a new one, issue is that there are absolutely none in Australia via GMH (genuine) or from the Tremec specialists here.

My box is designated by GMH to be an "MER" (on VIN tag), originally a dual mass clutch (but i no longer run a DM), TUET number is 10878, 85mm, ratios 3.01-1st, 0.71-5th, 0.57-6th (specs i got from GMH did not have 2nd, 3rd, 4th or reverse listed?).

What i'm trying to find is there possibly any other Tremec 6060 input shafts i can use, same length would be good, bit longer no problem as i can get it machined down, all seem to be 26 spline 1 1/8" (for LS), no one lists how many teeth on the gear or if there is any gear differences between input shafts?

I've attached a pic of my current input (before mishap), as it was DM from factory hence the spline being machined back, as long as i had enough spline length with another this is not needed with new.

Any help would be greatly appreciated (part numbers, specs etc), i think I've run out of internet places to look trying to find info!

MER means about as much as you drive a blue sedan.
Get the TUET####(#) and contact Tremec in the States. Followed by the Gear Box.
If you need a hands-on assist, stateside like shipping, I can help.

Thanks for the reply Mathew.

I might have been thrown a bone i think (i hope!), a friend who works for GMH here in Aus rang me this morning and has said he has found me a replacement input shaft out of the states via Holden, here's hoping!!

Btw, how did you know my sedan is blue

You mistook the GMH RPO code MER as being trans. related, it means sea blue.

I have wanted a Simmons F-Series wheelset for 24 years, mate. I may sneak those when you're occupied setting up bearing pre-load on your box with the parts from GMH.

I'm the same re the simmons, always wanted a set so this time thought stuff it, they're going on!

Now that you mention bearing pre-load that's my next puzzle to complete, hoping that i can remove the front cover only to replace the input but need to work out how i am going to measure up the pre-load to bolt it back together, more time i think.
