How much different are the cases, the bellhousing bolt pattern are between the dodge/ford and chevy? If I obtain a Dodge Challenger tr6060, it appears I should be able to use the G8 input shaft. But wanted to clarify I can use the GM bellhousing, and input shaft.

I haven't seen a Challenger version yet that would work with a G8 input.
If you can get hands on with the Challenger box, you may want to see if the Challenger input can be machined and re-tipped at the pilot to suit GM.
Also, there was a QuickTime to suit Viper to GM that may help.
