Default Need emergency clutch/flywheel help

2006 pontiac GTO

My slave died so the transmission specialist said i should do the clutch

I ordered an LS7 upgrade and flywheel

Clutch- LUK 04216
Flywheel- LUK LFW191

The guy is saying it is noticeably beefier and bigger over the stock and may not fit. The car is up in the air currently awaiting the call to throw the existing stock one back in or go ahead on the LS7.

He claims this could break the transmission.

Help.

It will fit but it is heavier and will stress the synchros more than the original clutch. Honestly I think you would also notice the engine feels a bit sluggish from the added weight.
