Hey guys, I know jack **** about gears for my project I will have L33 gen3 block and t56 out of 2005 gto which is LS2, I know t56 from ls1 will bolt right up to ls truck engines but how about ls2 t56? I know bolt pattern is the same but there was something about the throw out bearing needing a change and the thing is I dont know to what or to which.

I run a t56 out of a 2005 GTO behind the 2002 L59 5.3L in my 72 A-body wagon. Bolted right up...I used the stock Vette' LS7 clutch.

Only thing odd I ran into was, you have to run the GTO starter or modify the GTO bellhousing to use the cheaper truck starter. Or use an F-body bellhousing...
