Default Fwd manual tranny for 4.8 ly2
i have compact space so I can not go with a standard longitudinal transmission. With that being said does anyone know of a fwd manual tranny that will bolt up to a ls4.8 ly2 ???

please help ?!?!

Look at the 5 speeds used in Fieros.

ls4.8LY2? You have some numbers mixed up. The FWD engine is the LS4. The LY2 is a completely different engine.

Nope I’m not mixed up just didn’t put a space between ls and 4.8

Plenty of Fieros with LS engines in them. Check out the conversions/hybrids section on this site. Search Fiero, and see what they are doing.
There is a guy over there with a fiero that has a supercharged LS7 in it.

There is a thread of a guy who just did an LS swap in an old Saturn. I'm pretty sure he used the factory Saturn 5 speed. Check that out.
