Starter difference Gathering parts for my t56 swap into my rcsb silverado. I bought a 2005 GTO trans for good price. From what i read the gto and ls1 have difference starters correct? The gto is slightly smaller and the bell house on t56 has a smaller opening than a f-body. So the question is do i swap to a ls1 bell house and use my lq9 starter or keep current gto bell house and buy a gto starter? I have heard both sides here but they were old posts. thanks
