Default Magnum Slip Yoke Depth

Have a MWC 9 and a magnum t56 with the sonnax slip yoke. Looks like I'm going to have to shorten the drive shaft considerably.

Anyone know how far the slip yoke is supposed to be engaged in the trans and where to measure and under what load for getting the driveshaft shortened?

I'm sure it's a variable amount.

How much do you have engaged ? Or is there some reason you're unable to have it in a reasonable amount ?
