Should i M6 it? Have the opportunity to get a built t-56, and all the hydraulics (upgraded z06 stuff) For cheap money, should i do the swap? the car sees more street racing than anything. And the A4 stinks for it. Thanks for the input.. Any quick responses would be great, gotta make a decision by tomorrow!

I have a three-some of LS1 F-bodies...see sig, and an automatic just doesn't do the LS1 justice. I know stall converters, shift kits, and rear-end gears really wake up the A4 but rowing 6 gears with the LS1 under the hood is fun as hell. Automatics are the **** for drag racing from a dig(dead stop)but without a huge stall converter with gears a M6 will destroy an A4, even if the A4 car has more power.
The decision to swap drivetrains is dependant on your main usage of the vehicle: if you plan to bracket race a lot then you ought to stay with the auto, but if driving the car is your goal then the M6 will be great!

yea see most of my racing is on the street, messing around with friends and stuff. I go to the track maybe 3 times a year, so im thinking a m6 is the thing for me. Does anyone have links to complete write ups on the swap? Thx for the input 
A little while back I was looking into a swap also, I now have a TCI SSF3500 and couldn't be happier with it. I love shifting gears with a M6, but the converter added a kick to my car that I love. But like everyone told me it's your car and it's what you want. If it's all a great deal buy it and decide later, resale and make a bit of $$$ if you change your mind. Good luck!!!
