t56 or tr6060
sorry newb question. Ive been seeing a bunch of people posting up tr6060s. Im planning to do an ls1 or ls6 swap into my e36 and Im wondering if this tranny will work properly or could be adapted to?

Either or, it's entirely up to you.
Although I think the OEM TR6060 with the remote shifter..I've heard of guys easily hooking up a BMW linkage to these and in general the 6060 is the better gearbox. So would make more sense to go for that.

The castings in the body are there on a Magnum to allow fitment ( probably needs machining ? ), does that mean all such boxes do actually have the pump ?
I see some sellers touting it as a cost extra, so presume it's not standard ?
Wish I'd taken the front cover off mine to check

i did not personally have it apart, but Texas druvetrain did when he did the magnum conversion. He said that pump is a failure point on those transmissions. Mine was deleted with the conversion because of the new front plate
