Default Auto manual mod?

Has anyone attempted to switch over to automanual on a 99-02 Trans Am? If anyone has or knows where you can buy parts to be able to as well as how much it costs please respond!!

A paddle shifted or rod shifted automatic would be a completely custom build you'd create yourself. IIRC that kind of thing barely existed in any car in 2002. Certainly not on Fbody nor Corvette.

There is a shifter that can be bought to use. The car would have to be full manual tho from what I understand. It’s similar to what they call lighting rods in the 80’s cars. Has a shift lever per gear like a lenco. Not sure what company makes it but I can find out if you want. Now this is for an auto trans what I’m talking about.

I've always wondered about swapping the trans from an early 2000s Aston Martin. I am pretty sure they were a paddle shifted t56 of some sort but probably difficult to control and stupid expensive.

I don't know much about the aston martin t-56. There is a company that makes (or made) a sequential gear shift t-56 swap for 2JZs in Toyota supras.

That’s a conversion for an automatic but Mastershift does this for the manuals. You still operate a clutch.
