On a really poor surface I resort to a 4500 / 2nd gear launch. Results in around 1.2-1.3 seconds of actual clutch slip in 2nd gear while pulling the engine down to around 3k, but dead hooks the radials.

That'd be a hell of a lot of slip from a standstill....4500rpm in 2nd gear is close to 60mph worth of drive on normal road tyres. If it did pull down to 3k that'd be around 40mph and well off boost.

Although not sure how it would affect the 60ft, but generally at the 60ft mark on crap surfaces I'd be at around 35mph

3k in 2nd is about 35 mph for me, plenty of torque down there with nitrous on a time delay.

This is great info on FP T56 as I will be installing mine once my engine is done. For a mostly street some drag racing what are you guys running for fluid in these, I've heard to run syncromesh, is that correct?

I use dexron 3 or syncromesh in t56s
