T56 Engaging While Clutch Pressed In
Good morning. Reaching out for some opinions. I have a T56 in my 98 Camaro, fresh rebuild, everything replaced down to the master cylinder and line. I've had no issues for about 3500 miles, then all of the sudden after a nice night cruise and actually getting it up into 6th gear, when I came to a light and put it into 1st and had the clutch pressed to the floor, I had some grinding/rattling start like it was trying to engage first. Mind you the clutch pedal was to the floor. I drained the clutch fluid, replaced it with some fresh fluid and bled the system again and it seemed fine for a few days, but now it is doing it again. Any ideas on what might be causing this? The clutch I put in was a stage 2 diamond clutch if that info helps at all... Thanks in advance for any time/assistance provided.
if you bleed system and that fixed it but it started again that could be a leak in your hydraulics which will cause engagement issues or if you are in gear and have the clutch all the way pushed in and car wants to creep forward or stall than the clutch is not disengaging which is typically a hydraulic issue
